We were privileged to spend our summer at Sinclair Baptist Church (SBC) in WY. We arrived on site ready for a fast-paced busy schedule. Several mission groups planned to help, all arriving at various times, so we were certainly grateful for 2 Pilgrims Ministries, Inc., acting as general contractors for the breezeway part of the summer tasks. We were also joined by Olathe View Baptist Church (OVBC), Freedom Baptist Church, AR (FBC), and Sink Bros, LLC (KS).
SBC had two priorities for the summer. One was to build a breezeway that would end the 15-year wait to connect the main church with its Kid City counterpart.
We were grateful that all remained safe as Karl and Scott worked with members of the church to place the heavy rafters on the new breezeway.
FBC came alongside to dig and place new gas lines for the entryway heaters, hang sheet rock, mud/tape, finish the roof, and install lights. They also finished the intersection. Drop-down tiles were FINALLY installed to complete the old-time look! Praise the LORD!
Although much was completed on the new breezeway during our 8 weeks in Sinclair, Daniel and Ethan, owners of Sink Bros, LLC answered a last-minute request to put in and trim late-arriving windows and doors. Before the brothers arrived, however, an unknown crack in a drainpipe in the new breezeway brokeand a torrent of water from an unprecedented amount of rainfall flooded the new addition. The flooding extended inside the intersection and could have caused a great deal of damage. Thankfully, since the doors had not yet been put in, most of the flood waters flowed outside.

“But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord,” and we do! Daniel and Ethan were able to repair the broken pipes, put in and trim the windows and doors, hang ceiling fans, and put shiplap on the ceiling. Leftover shiplap was used for wainscot around the new walls. Wow! Just, wow!
The other priority was to finish the Kid City renovations, including the restrooms, which started last year. Joe, of Black Brothers Building, led a group from OVBC to install tile flooring. Once this onerous task was done, FBC installed the rest of the toilets, urinals, and partitions. Mirrors were hung, doors installed and trimmed, electrical outlets moved, and a mop sink was plumbed! A wall was also moved, allowing access to the storage room framed last year and blocking access to an old garage. Church members are glad for the updated look, organization, and safety the renovations provide. All looks wonderful and new and ready for a coat of paint!
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

Our time at Triple S Christian Ranch was marked by remembering that our God is faithful. We returned to the camp as we were closing the book on our trip to Peru, reveling and sharing what He is doing in that place. We returned to find a family of believers also rejoicing in the faithfulness of God.
We delight with them in the fact that the camp has been growing which requires new and updated buildings. God has been abundantly and exceedingly providing to meet these needs. The boys’ cabin, just a thought last fall, stood finished and ready for Scott to stain.
Areas were added to both ends of the tabernacle in the form of new decks. These decks will provide room for church groups to meet and counsel as needed.
The trim and support for the girls’ cabin and shower house had also been finished and awaited stain.
We witnessed once again the willingness of God’s people to drop everything to volunteer time and talents. (I won’t mention names…Dan… but you run that machinery like they are extensions of your own arms!)
Meanwhile, the congregation of Freedom Baptist Church, currently meeting at Triple S, celebrated a huge answer to prayer as well. Enough funding from the One who owns it all poured in this spring. Work inside the church has begun; they now look forward to celebrating Christmas in their new church home! Praise the LORD for His faithfulness!

So, what was accomplished? Scott and Dan worked to put in a couple of culverts, build up foundations, and dig a water line. Scott stained 2 cabins, a shower house, 2 decks, and a new podium backdrop, and as we labor, we pray to a faithful God. We pray for the future campers, staff, and congregations that will fill this campus. We pray for their salvation and growth in the knowledge of the Lord. We trust that as we work on the physical foundations, God will be exalted in the teaching of biblical foundations. We pray for a dying to self and a life blessed by being His with Christ in God. We remember that God is faithful!
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Freedom Baptist Church joined us last summer for a fast-paced mission project for Sinclair Baptist Church in Sinclair, WY. Plane tickets have been purchased for another trip this summer. Please pray for this church, the mission trip, and the much-needed completion of this new church building.

Please continue to pray for all who partner with SBC as they carry on with the restoration needs of this historic building and ministry center. Preparations have been made for the application of stucco next spring for both the new breezeway and parts of the building facade in great need.
Missionary Acres, Silva, MO We arrived in this community for retired Baptist missionaries, teachers, and pastors to learn that they have been busy this summer. They have enjoyed more help this year than even before COVID. That is a huge praise! Thank you for your willingness to pray for and help these sweet folks! They also received enough funding to finish the sheet rock on a house start last spring. Praise the Lord, for He is good! Thank you for partnering in this endeavor!
